It’s a good idea and it helps, but it’s much smaller than I imagined for my medium size dog, Check the size to make sure it will work for you.

Great towel to wipe off the dogs when they are wet. It’s a little small for my labradoodle and gets full of water pretty quickly but still helps get them dry.

I have 2 blue heeler mixes who have dense, waterproof coats, so when they get wet, they are difficult to dry. I keep this by the back door and they love the way it feels. It dries one dog about 80% which is fantastic for these coats. Easy to wash, doesn't seem to hold the wet dog smell.

Our springer loves the water. She doesn't mind the pouring rain either. I recently used the product on her after she played in the rain and it really did dry her quickly.
