Having used a variety of spoons to start my 5 month old on solids, she gagged with every spoon except this one. I think the small, soft silicone spoon helps avoid gagging and allows her to keep the spoon in her mouth and slowly swallow her first mashed bananas with milk. Thank you for this wonderful product.
